Kyle and Grace met in January of 2022 at Choctaw Road Baptist Church. Grace was singing on stage, and Kyle had been told to watch for her, but doesn't remember actually meeting her that day LOL. Fast forward through the next 18 months, and the two had few interactions, but were friends in the same friend group.

In September of 2023, the two worked a Fall Retreat with the church's youth group and talked a lot that weekend. Kyle finally got Grace's number, and Grace left that weekend with a crush on him. On September 20, Leah (a bridesmaid) literally pinned Grace down on their living room floor to make her admit that she had feelings for Kyle. As you can imagine, it was quite the night!

Grace hung out with her cousins Morgann and Russell a week later, who always interrogated her about boys - and were shocked when there was finally an answer to the question, "Do you like anyone?" That night, Russell decided this was way too good to pass up, so he dm'ed Kyle on instagram to tell him to ask Grace out. The next day, Kyle text Grace, a coffee date was set up, and the two haven't gone a day without talking since.

The two themes that Kyle and Grace constantly go back to when looking at their relationship is the beauty and perfection of God's timing, and the reality that it is a gosh darn small world! A true Okie girl and a Texan redneck weren't necessarily looking for each other, but trusted the Lord to provide, and He proved to be faithful once again! Now, they can't imagine life without the other and both agree that May 3 can't come soon enough!
